Dorkbot Newcastle (21st September 2010)

The next Dorkbot is scheduled for the 21st September 2010 in the Centre for Life’s Life Lab as usual.

Guests include Tim Hunkin of  http://www.timhunkin.com/ , Oli Wood talking about his ping-pong ball LED display, and FourQ talking about his RFID implants and automated home.

Doors open 6.30 for a 7.00 kick off. Entry is free and  there will be a pay bar.

Moving in

Well, we are finally in. Still working out what to do with the space but expect a soldering station, a area to put together electronics, and some books on electronics.

We are at Howduino on the weekend, two days of making with Arduino, at the Centre for Life (http://www.makerspace.org.uk/news/2010/05/howduino/), please register and come down.
